All authors need to think about their personal brand. Anything you send out to the world says something about you to potential readers. Will your logo, site color, even font choice, communicate your persona as intended, or is it saying something troubling to the public at large?

Not only does a well-thought-out brand create a more professional presentation, it can also help your promotional efforts work more efficiently. A consistent graphic approach makes you and your work more recognizable in the literal ocean of book promotion that’s out there.

How does the design process work?

We'll start with a conversation to learn about you as an author, your work, personality, and what kind of image you want to project.

After we know more about you, we’ll generate some concepts to whittle down to the right approach. Based on your feedback, we'll further refine the selected direction until we’ve developed a complete graphic identity for you and your promotional materials.

What will I receive at the end of the process?

You'll have a new logo, developed for print and for web, both in color and black-and-white. We'll also have selected ‘official’ fonts and colors so all promotion will share a similar graphic language. If you opt to design a book, website, or other promotional item at the same time, we can use those projects during the branding exercise and save you some time and money on both!
